"What time of day are shadows the longest?
Around noon when the Sun is high overhead. The position of the Sun with respect to the horizon. If the Sun is low to the horizon the shadow will be long. If the Sun is high overhead the shadow will be short."
For this HW challenge you will be asked to shoot the majority of your shots outdoors. (1) Use shadows as your focal point/ subject matter. Consider the time of day when documenting shadows. (2) Use shadows to enhance your subject. (3) Create Concept Type Images with Shadows.
