7223 Photography I L1   
Photography I is a comprehensive course designed to introduce students to the art of black and white photography. Students will learn how to operate a manual 35 mm single-lens reflex camera and develop their own negatives and prints. Other topics explored include digital imaging and hand coloring. Adobe Photoshop software will be used to colorize and manipulate images on Macintosh computers. Students will gain a practical knowledge of photography, its uses, history and aesthetics.
