Artist / Composition Research Exercise

Goal: (1) Choose an artist of interest, (2) research selected works by artist on Google Images or related web site and (3) Compare selected works to the Elements and Principles of Design.

Directions:

1. Examine the list of artists below. 
2. Explore artist(s) of interest and review his/her body of work on Google Images.
3. Select one painting for each of the 7 Principles of Design
4. Using a Google Word file, import selected images of paintings into word document.  Label each image with its matching Principle of Design.
5. View the list of Design Elements and consider which elements relate to each painting.  Add this information along side imported photos.
6. Once you have completed this exercise please share document with me for evaluation. My email address to share is [email protected]
